As a Freelance Illustrator, you will collaborate closely with our curriculum designers to create engaging images for online materials across various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies. What You'll Do

• Create visually appealing images for online materials, including accurate maps, engaging illustrations, and precise diagrams.
• Maintain visual consistency and adhere to IXL style guidelines.
• Manage multiple illustration projects under tight deadlines.
• Revise images based on feedback from curriculum designers.
• Utilize strong craftsmanship and illustration skills with a keen eye for design.
• Produce engaging, kid-friendly illustrations that align with IXL's style guidelines.
• Source and manipulate images from Shutterstock as needed.
• Communicate ideas clearly and effectively with team members.

Requirements

• A degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong illustration and graphic design skills, preferably for online content in the education sector.
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple design requests efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to present ideas clearly.
