About the Role

We have an exciting new opening available for a Freelance Back-end Developer to start as soon as possible. This Freelance Back-end Developer remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. You will be joining a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain robust back-end systems for various applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Back-end Developer.
  • Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Must be based in the UK and available to start by the 4th of August.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
