Founding Frontend Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Founding Frontend Engineer to join a fast-growing startup that is modernizing construction technology. This Founding Frontend Engineer remote role offers real ownership, allowing you to build new customer-facing products from scratch while shaping the frontend foundations alongside a backend-leaning team.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship frontend experiences for new SaaS products.
• Own end-to-end delivery of user-facing features, from concept to production.
• Refactor and modernize frontend code for scale and performance.
• Partner closely with product and backend engineers on real customer workflows.
• Establish frontend patterns, components, and best practices.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience building user-facing web applications with a frontend focus.
• Experience at an early-stage startup (Seed–Series C) or strong consumer app company.
• Built customer-facing or data-intensive SaaS products.
• Full-stack background preferred, with a frontend-heavy focus.
• Strong ownership mindset, low ego, highly self-directed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, React, MobX, CSS, JS, and HTML.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Experience in the construction technology sector.
