Founding Engineer - Identity, Access, and Security Automation

About the Role

We are seeking a Founding Engineer to join our innovative team focused on identity, access, and security automation. This role is a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a high-growth cyber and SaaS platform. As a Founding Engineer, you will help enterprises modernize how access, permissions, and workflows are managed, making a significant impact on global organizations across various sectors.

What You'll Do

• Design and build core automation and platform services.
• Develop secure, reliable system components that enhance user experience.
• Improve internal tooling and configuration workflows for better efficiency.
• Deliver visibility, reporting, and control features to enhance security.
• Strengthen security and data protection mechanisms across the platform.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development, as well as infrastructure.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in building and supporting production systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Experience working on distributed and security-sensitive systems.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to thrive in early-stage environments and adapt to rapid changes.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL-based datastores.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation frameworks or tooling.
• Background in security, IAM, or PAM platforms.
• Knowledge of zero-trust or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience in identity, access, or governance systems.
• Prior work in early-stage or scale-up companies.
