What You'll Do

• Provide essential accounting and financial operations support to the Finance team at Coleridge Initiative.
• Assist with payroll administration and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring compliance with established financial procedures.
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager to manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, supporting monthly close activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and assist with compliance and audit preparation.
• Utilize your strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, to analyze financial data.
• Manage multiple deadlines effectively while working independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience supporting nonprofit accounting operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and payroll systems like ADP or Paychex.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with time-tracking systems like BigTime is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate financial challenges.
