About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician for Laboratory Equipment to join our team at Mettler Toledo. This remote position primarily involves travel to client sites in Toulouse, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Technician - Laboratory Equipment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a leader in weighing and instrumentation.

What You'll Do

• Perform verification and preventive maintenance of pipettes at client locations, following quality plans and procedures.
• Conduct periodic checks and ensure compliance with metrological procedures for quality assurance documentation.
• Manage your mission schedule effectively, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
• Work independently or alongside an experienced technician on regional and national assignments.
• Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding equipment performance and service follow-up.
• Adhere to safety protocols and internal procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Act as an ambassador for Mettler Toledo, promoting customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technician in laboratory settings or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of laboratory equipment maintenance and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in laboratory environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with pipette calibration and maintenance.
• Technical certifications related to laboratory equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
