About the Role

We're hiring an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at BeaconFire Inc. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those with minimal experience looking to kickstart their career in software development. As an Entry-Level Software Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies including Java, Angular, and React.js to develop applications that power our clients' platforms.

What You'll Do

• Develop applications using Java 8/JEE (and higher), Angular 2+, React.js, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code that meets the needs of our clients.
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with testers to understand defects and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and presenting technologies for architectural review.
• Work effectively with team members to accomplish shared user story and sprint goals.

Requirements

• Experience in programming languages Java and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) and knowledge of common APIs and data structures like Collections, Maps, Lists, and Sets.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and basic SQL query skills.
• 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding.

Nice to Have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science (CS).
• Experience using Spring, Maven, and Angular frameworks.
• Knowledge of contemporary Java technologies (e.g., Weblogic, RabbitMQ, Tomcat).
• Familiarity with JSP, J2EE, and JDBC.
