Engineering Manager - Web3 Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - Web3 Remote to join Chainlink Labs, the industry-standard oracle platform that powers decentralized finance (DeFi). In this role, you will lead engineering teams responsible for building critical products and platforms that enhance Chainlink's decentralized ecosystem. As an Engineering Manager, you will ensure that teams deliver high-impact solutions that align with Chainlink's mission in the Web3 space.

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for core Chainlink products and services used across the Web3 ecosystem.
• Drive high reliability, scalability, and quality across production systems operating under demanding conditions.
• Collaborate closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps and influence strong product decisions.
• Balance short-term execution with long-term platform evolution, ensuring teams can move fast without compromising stability.
• Coach, develop, and retain engineers, supporting their career growth while fostering a healthy, engaged team culture.

Requirements

• Deep experience in taking products or platforms from early concept through production adoption in a Web3 environment.
• Strong product sense, connecting engineering decisions to user needs and business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and lead teams through ambiguity and complexity.
• Clear motivation and capability to support, grow, and develop engineers at multiple career stages.
• Sufficient technical depth to guide architectural discussions and assess trade-offs across systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience communicating effectively with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Track record of managing and developing senior or staff-level engineers.
• Experience leading teams in high-pressure or operationally intensive environments.
• Background spanning both larger, mature organizations and smaller or fast-scaling teams.
