About the Role

We're hiring an Engineering Manager for Blockchain Integrations to join our team at Anchorage Digital. This Engineering Manager - Blockchain remote position offers you the opportunity to lead a high-performing group at the strategic core of our organization. You will be responsible for enabling secure, scalable interaction with hundreds of blockchain networks and assets, which powers everything from custody and staking to governance and other on-chain functionality.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and strong execution.
  • Drive the engineering roadmap and create technology strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to translate our roadmap into reliable, scalable systems.
  • Ensure the health, happiness, and professional progression of every team member.
  • Manage complex and ambiguous challenges, delivering scalable solutions that enhance our digital asset platform.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring geographically distributed teams.
  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Strong engineering and management skills, with a focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity is a plus.
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with applied cryptography.
  • A background in the finance industry.
  • Familiarity with optimistic and zero-knowledge technologies.
