Electronics Design & Test Engineer - Remote

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design & Test Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Cornelis Networks. As a leader in high-performance networking solutions for AI and HPC datacenters, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products. This position allows you to work remotely while collaborating with a diverse team of experts across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Develop platform and board-level architecture for cutting-edge networking solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
• Evaluate and select components that meet design goals and performance standards.
• Create detailed schematics and layout rules for PCB designs.
• Assist in developing comprehensive test strategies to validate product performance.
• Support investigations of defects and bugs, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Develop troubleshooting tools for production tests to enhance efficiency.
• Support software engineering teams in the integration of hardware and software solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory testing and standards.
• Support manufacturing through all phases of product development, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in platform/test card specification and design.
• Strong experience in digital board design and proficiency with board layout tools.
• Excellent debugging skills with the ability to determine root causes of issues.
• Experience using lab equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets and schematics effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-speed digital design.
• Familiarity with FPGA design and programming.
• Knowledge of compliance standards in the electronics industry.
