About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electro-mechanical systems to design, analyze, and implement innovative solutions for a variety of engineering projects. What You'll Do

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize CAD software for 3D and 2D design of components and systems.
  • Conduct data analysis using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications for engineering projects.
  • Engage in problem-solving activities to address engineering challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in best practices and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electro-mechanical systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD design software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards, including ASHRAE and NYC Mechanical Code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in nuclear engineering or maritime engineering.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
