About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Door Person / Bell Attendant to join our team at Pacific Hotel Management. This role is essential for providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they have a memorable experience during their stay. As a Door Person / Bell Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with a smile and assisting them with their needs. What You'll Do

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure, providing a positive first impression.
  • Escort guests to the check-in area and their accommodations.
  • Assist guests with luggage and other requests to enhance their comfort.
  • Direct traffic at the hotel entrance to ensure safety and accessibility.
  • Provide information about hotel features and local attractions.
  • Handle guest requests for services such as newspapers and faxes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized entrance area.
  • Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to various guest needs.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of the local area, including restaurants and attractions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred.
  • Training in emotional intelligence or customer service excellence.
