About the Role
We are seeking a talented Documentation Engineer to join Chainlink Labs in a fully remote capacity. What You'll Do
- Research, write, edit, and maintain developer documentation, tutorials, API references, and technical guides for Chainlink products.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and developer relations teams to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content.
- Continuously improve the developer experience through clear, well-structured documentation optimized for human and AI use.
- Work with open-source contributors to review and enhance community-submitted documentation.
- Organize and structure documentation for better discoverability and usability for humans and AI LLMs.
- Stay up-to-date with blockchain, smart contracts, AI, and Chainlink ecosystem advancements to keep documentation relevant.
- Participate in content strategy discussions, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency across all documentation.
Requirements
- Strong ability to write clear, structured, and concise technical documentation, with an understanding of best practices for developer documentation.
- Strong experience reading and writing Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Markdown, and Git.
- Industry knowledge in Blockchains, DeFi, trends, tools, and use cases.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or blockchain communities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, and developer advocates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex topics for a broad developer audience.
- Ability to operate independently and proactively identify and learn new skills or knowledge to adapt to evolving market needs.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a user empathy and developer experience focus.
- Strong interest in blockchain technology and using AI for improving documentation and the developer experience.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Chainlink and our product offerings.
- Experience writing code in programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Move is a plus.
- Experience with OpenAPI, Swagger, and code generation tools for API reference docs.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance user experience by developing documentation using tools such as Astro, Mintlify, Docusaurus, etc.
