Distribution Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Assistant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles with precise quantities and quality products for delivery to clients. You will support the route driver and ensure smooth operations in the distribution process.

What You'll Do

• Assist the driver before departing on the route by reviewing and confirming the billed products according to the established dispatch guide.
• Communicate with Secondary Distribution and Warehouse regarding any discrepancies in product loading to ensure accurate trip reconciliation.
• Monitor product shortages caused by miscounts or delivery errors, facilitating immediate adjustments in payroll settlements.
• Request signed invoices and manage cash or mobile POS transactions for delivered products.
• Ensure the security of values and documents through proper handling of the vehicle's cash box.
• Support the driver in submitting paperwork for administrative settlement and identify any issues for proper process adherence.
• Adhere to environmental safety procedures and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to the efficient management of departmental resources, aiming to enhance productivity and reduce costs without compromising service quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a focus on accounting.
• Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience is not required but is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability to change and a passion for achieving results.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
