Direct Support Professional - Caregiver (Remote)

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized attention to clients, encouraging their ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Be knowledgeable of each client's individualized care plan and provide support accordingly.
• Contribute to the care planning process by communicating specific information and observations regarding clients' needs and preferences.
• Attend to clients' individual needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and toileting.
• Assist clients with medication reminders to ensure all medications are taken as prescribed.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each client during service delivery.
• Perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.

Requirements

• 6+ months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background clearance.
• Able to get a negative TB test.
• Must pass a comprehensive drug screen.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to use a smartphone for clocking in and out and documenting care activities.
