Digital Art Director - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Digital Art Director to join our team at IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure and services. This Digital Art Director remote position allows you to shape the digital experience of our IONOS shop, from creative concepts to final implementation. You will collaborate with diverse teams in a friendly and open culture, ensuring that work and fun go hand in hand.

What You'll Do

• Design new landing pages, shop funnels, and other digital touchpoints with a strong focus on brand and design.
• Regularly ideate and design new concepts for shop optimization.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for specific product areas, collaborating with cross-functional experts.
• Work closely with Development, Tech, Agencies, Product Management, and Marketing to enhance visual quality and usability.
• Design and optimize UX concepts, visuals, interactions, and motion designs for our international shop segments.
• Balance visual creativity with user perspective and conversion goals.
• Support the development of our group-wide Design System.
• Contribute proactively with new ideas and test innovative concepts.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Digital Art Direction, Visual Design, and UI/UX Design.
• A strong sense of layout, visual hierarchy, typography, animation, and digital aesthetics.
• Proficiency with design and motion tools such as Figma or similar programs.
• Interest and experience in using AI tools within the design process.
• Independent, structured working style with high quality standards.
• Enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration and an open mindset.
• Experience in the creative direction of projects and teams.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear visual concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
