About the Role

We're hiring a Data Science Intern - Marketing Analytics to join our innovative team at Gametime United. As a Data Science Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing strategies and enhancing customer acquisition efforts.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing and maintaining frameworks to attribute marketing efforts and track customer journeys, user growth, and retention across various channels.
• Analyze marketing and user behavior data to identify trends, insights, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Support the management of tracking systems and help generate comprehensive reports on marketing performance and user retention.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and data teams to align analytics efforts with overall business growth goals.
• Provide data-backed recommendations for marketing timing, channel optimization, and user engagement.
• Help deliver detailed reporting on campaign effectiveness, organic/paid channel performance, and key metrics.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging marketing analytics techniques.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
• Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a similar domain.
• Foundational knowledge of marketing attribution, the user journey, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python/R for data analysis.
• Exposure to business intelligence data visualization software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.
• Strong critical thinking and a data-first approach to solving problems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams to achieve business goals.

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to or interest in mobile measurement solutions (e.g., SKAdNetwork/SKAN).
• Strong academic foundation in statistics, with an understanding of A/B testing, performance metrics, and predictive analytics.
