Data /​ ML Ops Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Data / ML Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dexian. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while collaborating with a talented group of professionals. As a Data / ML Ops Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting data preparation and AI workflow integration for our clients' products. Your expertise will ensure that AI pipelines are performant, secure, and ready for demonstration during the validation phase.

What You'll Do

• Prepare structured and unstructured data for RAG pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Configure and manage vector databases and embeddings to optimize data retrieval.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate data into demo workflows, enhancing user experience.
• Ensure pipeline reliability, reproducibility, and observability to maintain high operational standards.
• Support versioning, experimentation, and deployment infrastructure to facilitate continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in ML Ops, Data Engineering, or AI pipeline operations.
• Familiarity with LLM tuning, prompt engineering, or semantic search.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of security and privacy in AI data pipelines.
• Comfortable working on short-term, high-impact innovation sprints in agile environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude models (Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Haiku 4.5, Claude Opus 4.5).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL (RDS), AWS S3 (versioned, encrypted).
• Familiarity with AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge), Terraform, Docker.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and CloudWatch.
• Understanding of compliance standards such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, SOC 2, PCI DSS.
