Data Integration Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

DLF North America is seeking a Data Integration Engineer remote to join our team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our business leaders have access to accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making. As a Data Integration Engineer remote, you will translate business information needs into effective reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging ERP and enterprise data platforms while balancing accessibility, data integrity, security, and confidentiality.

What You'll Do

  • Advise the business on accessing information from Navision.
  • Build deep expertise in the Navision reporting stack and adjacent tools, including Power BI and Azure Services.
  • Engage business owners to gather and clarify reporting needs, ensuring true purpose and metrics are understood.
  • Modify, create, and provision access to reports and dashboards to meet validated needs.
  • Collaborate with global BI teams to design and deliver standardized reporting solutions.
  • Test reports with end users and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable semantic models and report designs.
  • Maintain report catalogs, documentation, and data lineage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in management accounting, BI, or analytics roles.
  • Strong ability to understand business operations and translate needs into reporting solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with BI delivery tools, including Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods in supply chain and business processes.
  • Ability to partner with infrastructure/application teams on environments and support.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise with Microsoft BI Stack: Power BI, Excel, SQL.
  • Familiarity with integrations and reporting across various applications.
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry and supply chains.
