About the Role

Utility Warehouse is seeking a Data Analyst - Remote to enhance our Business Intelligence team. This role is pivotal in developing data pipelines, transforming and interrogating data, and building insightful reports and dashboards for our stakeholders. As a Data Analyst - Remote, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a small Business Intelligence team to develop data pipelines in Google BigQuery.
• Build comprehensive reports and dashboards using Looker Studio.
• Ensure business alignment and foster trust in data across departments.
• Curate trusted data models to enable self-service analytics for stakeholders.
• Manage report access and distribution effectively.
• Adopt best practices in data management techniques.
• Support operations managers and team leaders with actionable insights.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives focusing on customer interactions.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Requirements

• Solid experience in SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with Google BigQuery is preferable.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational data sources.
• Proficiency in using Google Looker Studio or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of Google Sheets and fundamental statistical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights.
