Creative Technologist Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to offer a Creative Technologist Intern - Remote Opportunity at Bonneville Communications. This paid internship is designed for current students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in web development and digital marketing. The internship will begin on May 12, 2026, and will run through August 14, 2026, with a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours per week. This role is a hybrid position, allowing you to work both remotely and in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing the Giving Machines for the 2026 season, including cleaning, repairs, and software updates.
• Help produce setup documentation and manage logistics for various projects.
• Build and update marketing websites, landing pages, and interactive web content.
• Translate design files from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive, accessible web layouts.
• Support ongoing site maintenance, including content updates, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Implement analytics and basic SEO best practices to enhance web visibility.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to deliver high-quality projects.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or recent graduate in Web Development, Computer Science, Interactive Media, IT, Design/UX, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to build or update responsive web pages and troubleshoot front-end issues.
• Familiarity with design translation from Figma into web layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with testing across browsers and devices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn across creative and technical tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Knowledge of basic SEO principles.
• Previous internship or project experience in a related field.
