About the Role

beehiiv is seeking a talented Corporate Counsel to join our team in a fully remote capacity from the USA. As a Corporate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to our organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while contributing to our mission of innovation and excellence.

What You'll Do

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Support the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends that may impact the organization.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Corporate Counsel or in a similar legal role.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

• Familiarity with intellectual property law.
• Membership in a state bar association.
