Contract BI & Data Analyst (dbt /​ Looker Studio) - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Contract BI & Data Analyst (remote) to join our team. This role is essential for supporting a time-critical delivery cycle over the next three months. As a Contract BI & Data Analyst, you will work with dbt and Looker Studio to create robust data models and insightful dashboards that will drive operational improvements.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain complex dbt models using SQL to support KPI reporting.
• Develop and enhance dashboards primarily using Looker Studio or equivalent BI tools.
• Deliver comprehensive reporting across multiple operational pathways, focusing on activity, performance, and engagement metrics.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into structured analytics and actionable outputs.
• Collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders to explain insights and technical constraints clearly.
• Adapt to changing priorities and deliver results within tight timelines.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in BI and data analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on dbt experience are essential.
• Proven capability in dashboarding and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story using data.
• Comfortable working with evolving requirements and imperfect data.
• Must be UK-based and fluent in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data platforms, such as BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Python and Git/version-controlled analytics.
• Experience working with regulated or sensitive data.
