Consumer Collection Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Consumer Collection Specialist - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing collections for healthcare financing, ensuring timely payments and effective communication with our clients. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to our mission of providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

• Manage consumer accounts and collections processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts.
• Utilize analytical skills to assess account statuses and develop strategies for collections.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and improve collection rates.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in our systems.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service, preferably in healthcare finance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with accounts receivable management.
• Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical billing.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes.
