Compliance Analyst - Remote Position at Rain

About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team at Rain. This role will allow you to leverage your expertise in compliance frameworks such as KYC/KYB and AML while working in a fast-paced environment. As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations align with regulatory standards, making a significant impact on our mission to create a borderless financial future.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the KYC/KYB and AML compliance officer to manage our comprehensive compliance program.
• Analyze and evaluate company policies, procedures, and business practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Actionalize and refine KYB, KYC, and AML processes based on operational data and best practices.
• Oversee and implement all aspects of regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead and manage regulatory examinations, ensuring thorough preparation and execution.
• Monitor and analyze customer and transaction data to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Assist with investigations of fraud and restricted activities as necessary.
• Stay updated on compliance-related developments in relevant jurisdictions impacting business activities.

Requirements

• BA/BS required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of compliance or related experience in a bank, financial services firm, or financial technology company.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including BSA/AML and OFAC/sanctions.
• Transaction monitoring and fraud management experience.
• Proven track record of complex problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a team player.

Nice to Have

• International experience, especially in the Caribbean and Latin America.
• Experience with HMT, UN screening lists.
• Record of working in a high-growth atmosphere.
• Exposure to B2B credit compliance frameworks.
• Experience deploying compliance tools and services.
