Competitive Swim Coach - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Competitive Swim Coach remote position at Nexus International School. As a Competitive Swim Coach remote, you will join our dedicated aquatics team, focusing on developing competitive swimmers while fostering a supportive and innovative learning environment.

What You'll Do

• Coach a competitive squad, delivering well-planned land and in-water sessions.
• Collaborate closely with Lead Coaches on training direction and swimmer progression.
• Support Senior Squad sessions and Swim Academy sessions as required.
• Assist with the organization and delivery of swim meets, both local and international.
• Support Physical Education swimming lessons as part of a broader aquatics program.
• Manage meet entries and swimmer administration using TeamUnify and Team Manager.
• Contribute positively to whole-school events and the wider school community.

Requirements

• Recognized swimming coaching qualification (e.g., ASCA, AUS Swimming, or other internationally recognized equivalents).
• Minimum of 5 years’ coaching experience in a club or squad environment.
• Experience working with swimmers of different ages and abilities.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace and swim management software.
• Desirable: Experience in an international school or youth development pathway.
• Knowledge or experience in strength and conditioning for swimmers.
• NROC license and a sport degree or equivalent.
