About the Role

Sentient is seeking a Community Manager – China (Remote) who will play a pivotal role in building, scaling, and nurturing our growing community of developers, data contributors, and AI enthusiasts in the Chinese market. As a Community Manager, you will leverage your expertise in both AI and Web3 to create engaging programs and initiatives that foster user participation and create strong advocates for Sentient.

What You'll Do

  • Lead initiatives to expand Sentient’s community in China through strategic outreach across platforms like WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Bilibili.
  • Guide and shape the voice of Sentient’s Chinese community, ensuring alignment with the values of open-source AI.
  • Develop educational programs, contests, and engagement strategies to educate the community and generate content.
  • Track community-oriented KPIs and optimize strategies based on data to inform community initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between the Chinese community and internal teams to integrate feedback into the product development roadmap.
  • Support Sentient’s marketing efforts by engaging with the community through trending content and valuable insights.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of decentralized AI technologies and familiarity with Web3 narratives.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling community initiatives in technology sectors.
  • Experience managing online communities across WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Bilibili.
  • Experience organizing ambassador or community engagement programs.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, capable of engaging and expanding Sentient’s community in China and beyond.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analytics tools to track community engagement metrics.
  • Knowledge of content creation and social media marketing strategies.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
