About the Role

We are hiring a Comms Associate to join the Ethereum Foundation's dynamic team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Ethereum ecosystem's communication efforts. As a Comms Associate, you will play a vital role in managing our communication channels and expanding our presence in Asia.

What You'll Do

  • Manage our social media accounts daily by drafting engaging content, responding to inquiries, and amplifying important ecosystem news.
  • Expand the Ethereum Foundation's communication presence in Asia by building relationships with local media and communities.
  • Plan, execute, and host livestreams to engage our audience effectively.
  • Produce guest threads and articles for platforms like X and LinkedIn, including regional-specific platforms.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research to support our social, marketing, and communication strategies, including monitoring social media analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Studio team to create compelling assets for social media.
  • Develop content strategies, draft visuals, and more as our team grows.

Requirements

  • High energy and throughput: ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Curiosity and investigative mindset: ask critical questions to enhance our tactics.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant position.
  • Language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) and knowledge of key Asia social networks are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with TikTok, reels, and other video-based social media formats.
  • Basic knowledge of Figma for creating simple graphics.
  • Basic video editing skills for creating short clips.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted workflows and a willingness to learn.
