Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst remote position with Qatar Airways. As a vital member of our Commercial team, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and implementation of our commercial strategy. Your role will involve providing business analytics to maximize revenue and profit generation across the region, ensuring that we meet our budget targets.

What You'll Do

• Analyze traffic segments, distribution channels, and travel agencies to drive market share and revenue goals for Qatar Airways.
• Interpret and analyze large datasets related to your assigned portfolio, making recommendations to enhance our commercial strategy.
• Identify market opportunities through comprehensive internal and external analysis, proposing initiatives to generate incremental revenue.
• Provide insightful commentary on performance metrics such as market share and revenue performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Network Planning teams, to drive tactical initiatives.
• Monitor the performance of fare products, sales incentives, and commercial initiatives to ensure effectiveness.
• Build compelling business cases to support recommendations on commercial product and policy changes.
• Work closely with Global CBI and Revenue Management teams to improve data processing flows and enhance data adoption.
• Support management with ad-hoc analysis and assigned projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Diploma in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Operations Research.
• 1-3 years of practical experience in Commercial or Analytical functions, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and deliver meaningful insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Proactive and independent, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proven commercial skills and business acumen.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Tableau.
