About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Data Architect to join our team remotely. This Cloud Data Architect remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield SAP S/4 Rise implementation, contributing to the design and delivery of a robust data warehouse and enterprise analytics platform.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design of a cloud data warehouse and data lakehouse architecture to ingest large-scale transactional and operational data.
  • Define integration strategies and develop a reference architecture leveraging Databricks Delta Lake.
  • Implement semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Oversee ingestion pipelines and optimize query performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on building data warehouses.
  • Experience with cloud data architecture is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on SAP S/4 implementations.
  • Proficiency in Azure is preferred, but experience with AWS or GCP will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake is preferred, though experience with similar tools is acceptable.
  • Strong data modeling and SQL skills are required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools beyond Tableau and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.
