About the Role

We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Emergency Department team at Astria Health. This Certified Nursing Assistant remote position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional healthcare. You will play a vital role in assisting with patient care and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
  • Provide designated comfort measures and general hygiene for patients, including bathing, oral care, and linen changes.
  • Accurately obtain, report, and document vital signs (VS), intake & output (I&O), weights, and other patient data as assigned.
  • Assist the Physician/RN with procedures when needed.
  • Transport patients or items to or from different departments and accurately record patient items and/or information to be transferred.
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
  • Adhere to the core values and standards of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with relevant certification.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in an emergency department setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
