Career Navigator - Remote Position at Goodwill
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Career Navigator - Remote to join Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region. In this role, you will provide essential case management services and individualized support to participants in our federally funded Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). As a Career Navigator, you will empower clients to achieve their personal and professional goals while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
What You'll Do
- Complete all Department of Labor (DOL) SCSEP enrollment requirements and maintain communication with potential SCSEP enrollees throughout the process.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, strengths, barriers, and goals to develop individualized action plans.
- Collaborate with clients to outline short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring alignment with their career aspirations.
- Work closely with other teams to coordinate services and share insights for improving overall program effectiveness.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on job readiness, financial literacy, communication skills, and personal development.
- Compile and submit required reports into the Grantee Performance Management System (GPMS) and our GORR Caseworthy data management system.
- Participate in program evaluations and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Provide case management and retention support to enrolled program participants, ensuring motivation and engagement.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in case management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and community partners.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with community resources and services available to clients.
- Proficient in using digital files and data management systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with older adults or diverse populations.
- Knowledge of government assistance programs and financial support options.
- Certification in case management or related fields.
