About the Role

The Duquesne Club is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Server to join our team. As a Breakfast Server, you will start your day early, around 6:00 or 6:30 AM, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. This Breakfast Server position is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing top-notch service.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome members by name and take orders accurately, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Deliver orders promptly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Collaborate with the service staff and management team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inspect dining rooms before guest arrival to ensure proper setup.
  • Assist guests with menu inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Follow Duquesne Club standards for order-taking and service techniques.
  • Address any member inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in Club meetings and training sessions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of fine dining procedures, etiquette, and social customs.
  • Physical capability to carry trays weighing up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for the entire shift.
  • Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to Club policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience as a server in an upscale dining establishment is preferred.

  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Ability to serve multiple tables/groups simultaneously.
