About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Banquet Captain to join our team at Heritage Hotels & Resorts. This Banquet Captain role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining a high level of service and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee banquet operations, ensuring smooth service flow and staffing levels during events.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and suppliers to enhance the overall experience.
  • Implement company food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
  • Resolve guest complaints effectively, focusing on guest satisfaction.
  • Train and supervise staff to uphold service standards and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; a degree in Hospitality is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage supervisory experience.
  • Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift/push/carry 30+ pounds.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in luxury branded hospitality environments.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant Point of Sale systems.
