About the Role
We are looking for an AWS Support Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at Cloudologix. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our AWS cloud infrastructure. As an AWS Support Engineer remote, you will ensure the smooth operation of cloud services and support deployments while collaborating closely with internal teams. What You'll Do
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure components, including EC2, S3, VPCs, RDS, and IAM.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents related to AWS services, ensuring minimal downtime and fast recovery.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing AWS resources and costs, implementing automation using tools like AWS Lambda or CloudFormation.
- Assist in securing the AWS environment by managing IAM policies and applying security best practices.
- Implement and manage backup strategies using AWS Backup and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
- Maintain technical documentation and create reports on system health, resource usage, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and other teams to support AWS operations and assist in cloud-based deployments and migrations.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in supporting AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, AWS CLI, or similar tools.
- Understanding of AWS backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve AWS-related issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Ops Administrator).
- Familiarity with the Well-Architected Framework.
