Associate Director of DreamLab Operations - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Director of DreamLab Operations to join our team at the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our new DreamLab, a creative hub designed to inspire girls through STEM, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and Outdoor activities. As an Associate Director of DreamLab Operations remote position, you will play a critical leadership role in enhancing customer experiences and overseeing seamless operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead customer experience initiatives to ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all visitors.
• Oversee daily operations, including guest flow, check-in processes, and on-site support.
• Address guest feedback and concerns promptly to improve overall experiences.
• Manage facility operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to address facility needs and emergencies.
• Plan and execute DreamLab programs, ensuring they align with Girl Scout policies and safety standards.
• Supervise and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Track and report on facility usage and program execution metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6-8 years of customer-facing operational experience, preferably in hospitality or nonprofit sectors.
• 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong operational and facilities management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and POS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to equity and working with diverse populations.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred.

• Experience in youth-serving organizations or community centers.
• Knowledge of Girl Scout programming and safety guidelines.
• Experience in program planning and execution.
