About the Role

Join Renesas Electronics as an Applications Engineering Intern - Remote, where you'll be part of the AI Center of Excellence. This exciting opportunity allows you to assist the Customer Support (CS) team with AI projects and application notes development. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience while working with cutting-edge technologies in a flexible remote environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the CS team in building demos using the latest technologies.
  • Participate in AI projects and contribute to application notes development.
  • Engage in customer calls, showcasing your communication skills.
  • Learn about the internal AI stack and tools used in the industry.
  • Utilize your basic understanding of Python and data manipulation libraries like NumPy and Pandas.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a BS/MS degree program in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Python and familiarity with data manipulation libraries.
  • Good communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Eagerness to learn about AI tools and technologies.
  • Entry-level knowledge of C programming is preferred.
  • Knowledge of embedded programming is a bonus.

  • Experience with AI projects or coursework related to artificial intelligence.
