As an Animal Care Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of dogs in our care.

What You'll Do

• Supervise playgroups of dogs, managing their behavior and ensuring a safe environment.
• Learn about canine behavior to enhance the comfort and safety of dogs in our care.
• Maintain cleanliness in kennels and play areas, including cleaning toys and managing unpleasant messes.
• Feed pets according to instructions and ensure they have fresh water and clean bedding.
• Administer medication as directed by veterinary instructions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and pet parents to ensure a smooth operation.
• Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for all.
• Demonstrate a love for dogs and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.
• Previous animal care experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
