AI Developer Advocate - Remote Position at JetBrains

About the Role

JetBrains is looking for an AI Developer Advocate to join our team remotely. In this role, you will strengthen JetBrains’ presence in the AI tooling space and help developers build, deploy, and scale modern applications using AI in JetBrains IDEs. This AI Developer Advocate position is perfect for someone passionate about AI and software development.

What You'll Do

• Attract attention to and explain various aspects of our product portfolio through videos, blog posts, partner collaborations, livestreams, and speaking engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships within the global developer community and on social networks.
• Work closely with product teams to provide valuable feedback based on industry trends and developer needs.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them about our products and services.
• Represent JetBrains in the press, articulating the benefits of our product offerings.
• Contribute to various projects within JetBrains as needed.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for the direction of software development and the impact of AI.
• Applied experience with software engineering best practices, such as testing and version control.
• Hands-on experience with coding agents like Claude Code, Junie, Gemini, and Codex.
• Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, and Rust.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
• Strong self-organization, goal-setting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel for events and engagements.
