About the Role

As an A.I. Engineering Intern/Fellow at Manifold AI, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and engage in building production-grade AI systems and agents that meet customer needs. This role is perfect for those currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in a related field and looking to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of artificial intelligence.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with our Data and AI team to integrate LLM developer frameworks.
  • Work on internal infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • Add evaluation datasets and develop evaluation methods to enhance AI system performance.
  • Assist in improving the Manifold product offering through innovative solutions.
  • Document and share findings to shape the development culture within the team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Go, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Argo.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Interest or experience with foundational models and LLM frameworks.
  • A strong coding skill set with a continuous learning mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship or project experience in AI or software development.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practices.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
