About the Role

We are seeking a talented 3D Animator to create realistic animations for a dog model. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the gaming industry, where you will bring lifelike movements and expressions to a digital canine character.

What You'll Do

• Enhance the 3D dog model by redesigning facial features for better emotional expression.
• Add realistic fur textures and details to improve visual quality.
• Implement structural changes to ensure proper rigging and animation capabilities.
• Create a variety of tail animations, including wagging, twitching, and tucked positions.
• Develop facial animations that convey a range of emotions such as curiosity, anger, and fear.
• Ensure all animations are smooth and realistic, enhancing the overall user experience.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate animations into the game engine.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the animation pipeline.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Animator, particularly in character animation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing realistic animations and 3D models.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Understanding of rigging and skinning techniques for character models.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members.
