Wound Care Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Technician to join our team remotely. As a Wound Care Technician, you will play a vital role in our mission to improve lives by assisting with patient care during wound care visits. What You'll Do
- Assist physician/advanced provider in treating patients, including changing dressings and applying bandages.
- Provide accurate, legal, and ethical documentation when performing hands-on patient care.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Educate advanced providers on proper wound care techniques, including NPWT and compression therapy.
- Ensure proper operation and functioning of equipment, notifying the Medical Director of any malfunctions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience as a Wound Care Technician is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Medical Assistant or Certified Emergency Medical Technician certification is required.
- Healthcare experience in an urgent care or primary care setting preferred.

- Experience in educating others on proper documentation.
