What You'll Do
- Build highly scalable and distributed services that enhance Twilio’s messaging capabilities.
- Develop internal and public REST APIs and event-based systems used by Twilio customers.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team to brainstorm and implement product ideas.
- Continuously improve services that drive Twilio’s top products and revenue.
- Take ownership of your product, ensuring SLA compliance and participating in incident resolution.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, Go, or C#.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Proven ability to build and support mission-critical customer-facing systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of asynchronous architectures and technologies (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with telemetry and observability tools for system monitoring.
