About the Role

Join our growing Market Making Engineering team, where you'll work on cutting-edge software that quotes, prices, and manages risk in real time for high-volume sports markets. This role is crucial as it spans the full RFQ/quote lifecycle, ensuring low-latency, event-driven services that are essential for our operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to tackle complex challenges in market making strategies.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and trading/risk stakeholders to implement innovative solutions.
• Own parts of product and technology, becoming a subject matter expert.
• Write simple, extendable code following best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning to foster team evolution.
• Track security risks and mitigate them promptly, ensuring operational excellence.
• Train new team members on software construction and operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and help develop their skills.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
• Expertise in frontend technologies such as React (JavaScript or TypeScript), Kotlin, or Swift.
• Experience with modern architectures, design patterns, and web libraries.
• Strong understanding of testing concepts and best practices in the SDLC.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Experience building advanced shared libraries or design systems.
• Knowledge of micro frontends and single-page applications.
• Familiarity with real-time quoting systems and decision-making frameworks.
