Senior Snowflake Developer - Strong DBT Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Snowflake Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote position will allow you to design and develop scalable data pipelines for cloud data platforms, focusing on Snowflake and DBT technologies. As a Senior Snowflake Developer, you will play a crucial role in building ETL/ELT processes and operational data marts, ensuring data quality and observability.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines for cloud data platforms.
• Build ETL/ELT processes and operational data marts.
• Analyze metadata, pipeline logs, and data lineage.
• Support data observability, monitoring, and SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Apply best practices in data engineering and data modeling.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT/Data Engineering experience, with a focus on data pipeline development.
• 4-5 years of SQL/PLSQL development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and DBT, including DBT macros and custom schemas.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in a cloud data platform environment (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with Airflow for workflow management.
• Strong data modeling knowledge and experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred.

Nice to Have

• SnowPro Core Certification.
• Experience with Snowflake cluster keys and SQL functions.
