Senior Safety Manager - Food Manufacturing

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Safety Manager to join our team in the United States. This Senior Safety Manager remote position will allow you to lead safety initiatives at a major facility specializing in food production. You will be part of the Safety & Security Department supporting the Lewiston-Woodville facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead all safety and security efforts for manufacturing complex and field operations.
• Manage safety programs, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives that promote a culture of safety excellence.
• Oversee incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead emergency response activities and serve as a key member of the incident command team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health, Industrial Health Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing safety management, preferably within food manufacturing or similar industries.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety best practices.
• Strong supervisory skills and experience managing off-site personnel.
• Proficiency in safety management tools and software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OHM, and SAP.

Nice to Have

• Experience with safety management in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Certifications in safety management or related fields.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
