Senior QA Engineer - Remote Position

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Halo Media. What You'll Do

  • Validate RESTful APIs and ensure high quality of Ant-Man services.
  • Perform CMS workflow testing and AEM Asset integration validation.
  • Carry out product upgrade and patch testing.
  • Design and execute automated test cases for APIs and UI.
  • Perform backend validation using SQL/JDBC (MySQL, Oracle).
  • Conduct AWS QA validation (Lambda, S3).
  • Integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub).
  • Apply test automation frameworks such as BDD, Page Object Model, and Singleton.
  • Track and report defects using Jira and maintain documentation in Confluence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS workflows and AEP validation.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API testing.
  • Proficiency in API automation tools: Postman, REST Assured.
  • Experience in UI automation: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
  • Strong SQL/JDBC skills for backend validation.
  • Experience with AWS QA validation (Lambda, S3).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD QA integration (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub).
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence).

Nice to Have

  • Experience validating AI workloads.
  • Familiarity with personalization platforms (AEP AJO).
  • Exposure to large-scale test datasets and load testing scenarios.
