Senior Project Manager - Partner Programs for Blockchain

About the Role

Join the Stellar Development Foundation as a Senior Project Manager focusing on Partner Programs in the exciting world of blockchain technology. This Senior Project Manager remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative partners and contribute to equitable access in the global financial system.

What You'll Do

• Manage, plan, and direct software and product development activities from launch to completion, ensuring timely delivery with high quality.
• Oversee long-term partner integration roadmaps and take ownership of the success of multiple partners within the Stellar ecosystem.
• Facilitate and lead partner meetings with both technical and business stakeholders to drive project success.
• Maintain comprehensive partner-related documentation, including milestone plans, dependencies, schedules, risks, and meeting notes.
• Measure project performance by analyzing the successful completion of short and long-term goals against company and team OKRs.
• Define process frameworks, project plan templates, tools, and best practices that can be adopted throughout the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing software development projects, particularly in the financial services industry, with experience in a blockchain startup or small company environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with partners from various backgrounds.
• Strong leadership skills and great organizational abilities, including attention to detail and multitasking.
• Experience with Project Management tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana, Confluence, and Google Suite.
• Independent and results-driven, capable of identifying priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify untold issues in the project lifecycle and create effective solutions.
• Aptitude for advocating for partners while supporting the company’s mission.
• Willingness to travel as needed, primarily within the Americas and Europe.

Nice to Have

• Curiosity about new blockchain technologies, including DeFi, Earn, and Contract tokens.
• Experience working directly with external partners in a project manager, delivery manager, or consultant capacity.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000, based on experience and location.
