Senior Product Motion Designer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Motion Designer to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. In this remote role, you will collaborate with product designers, graphic designers, and 3D designers to create stunning motion graphics and imagery that enhance our products and web surfaces. Your work will significantly influence the visual identity of services used by millions globally.

What You'll Do

• Identify and propose innovative opportunities to integrate motion into app experiences and websites.
• Apply motion design principles to various product levels, including UI micro-interactions, charts, icons, and illustrations.
• Transform existing static assets into dynamic visuals that engage users.
• Assess and select the appropriate tools for each project, demonstrating fluency across various design software.
• Build organized and easily shareable files to streamline collaboration.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with developers to implement animations and motion designs accurately.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a motion designer.
• Strong interest and understanding of contemporary visual culture.
• Deep knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in After Effects and familiarity with tools like Cavalry, Rive, and web-based animation frameworks (GSAP, CSS).
• Experience with the Adobe suite and LottieFiles for preparing animations for developers.
• Understanding of Figma fundamentals to collaborate effectively with product teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry.
• Knowledge of user experience design principles.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
