Senior Power BI Analyst - Toll Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Analyst - Toll Operations to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead the design, development, and enhancement of dashboards and reports that monitor toll operations and performance. As a Senior Power BI Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform advanced data analysis, and mentor junior analysts, making a significant impact on our operations.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for toll operations and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with database and toll teams to connect data sources, ensuring data integrity and streamlining reporting processes.
• Perform daily/weekly monitoring and advanced analysis of lane performance reports and dashboards.
• Conduct hyper-care monitoring of new and upgraded lanes, providing guidance on performance issues.
• Investigate operational, financial, and maintenance anomalies; perform root cause analysis and prepare executive summaries.
• Oversee the setup and monitoring of new lane system installations and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring systems.
• Identify gaps in existing processes, recommend improvements, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, with strong proficiency in Power BI.
• Extensive experience in data modeling, dashboard design, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Power BI skills: report development, DAX, Power Query, and complex data modeling.
• Deep knowledge of toll lane theory of operation and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong SQL query skills for complex data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in Linux commands, server support, and network/system management tools.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for trend identification, root cause analysis, and executive reporting.

• Familiarity with tolling or transportation systems preferred.
